Description

These irresistible cinnamon French toast bites are the ultimate fun breakfast treat! Ingredients

6 slices thick bread (brioche or challah works best), cut into cubes

3 large eggs

½ cup milk (whole or 2%)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp ground cinnamon

¼ cup granulated sugar

2 tbsp butter (for frying)

Maple syrup, for serving


Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ½ teaspoon cinnamon until smooth.

  • In a shallow bowl, mix sugar with the remaining ½ teaspoon cinnamon to make the coating. Set aside.

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt butter.

  • Dip bread cubes into the egg mixture, making sure each cube is coated but not soggy.

  • Add the cubes to the skillet in batches and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and slightly crisp.

  • Transfer immediately into the cinnamon-sugar mixture and toss until fully coated.

 

  • Serve warm with maple syrup for dipping or drizzling.

Notes

Best bread: Day-old brioche or challah gives the best texture, but sandwich bread works in a pinch.

Serving idea: Serve them on skewers or in little cups with syrup for a fun brunch display.

Make ahead: You can prep the egg mixture the night before and refrigerate. Cook fresh in the morning for best flavor.
