Description
This creamy baked spinach dip with Greek yogurt is the perfect party appetizer. Creamy, cheesy, and a little lighter than the traditional version, it’s guaranteed to disappear fast—whether you’re hosting a holiday gathering, game day, or just a cozy night in.
Ingredients
4 cups fresh spinach (or 10 oz frozen, thawed and drained)
1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for sautéing spinach)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
If using fresh spinach, sauté in olive oil or butter until wilted, then drain well. If using frozen, thaw completely and squeeze out excess liquid.
In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and Greek yogurt until smooth.
Stir in mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, and spinach. Season with salt and pepper.
Transfer mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly. Top with extra cheese if desired.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and golden brown on top.
Let cool slightly before serving with bread, chips, or veggies.
