Description
These crispy honey garlic salmon bites are tender on the inside, caramelized on the outside, and bursting with flavor. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or quick dinner—ready in just 15 minutes!
Ingredients
1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized cubes
2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon sriracha (optional, adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon neutral oil (canola, avocado, or vegetable)
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
2 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
Pat salmon dry with a paper towel and cut into even bite-sized cubes.
In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and sriracha.
Add salmon cubes to the bowl and gently toss to coat. Marinate for 10 minutes.
Heat neutral oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high until shimmering.
Add salmon in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
Swap honey with maple syrup or brown sugar for a different sweetness.
For a citrusy twist, squeeze fresh lemon or lime over salmon just before serving.
Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in a skillet to keep edges crispy.
To bake instead of pan-fry: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C), place salmon on a parchment-lined tray, and bake 10–12 minutes.
