Description

This Nutella-stuffed deep-dish cookie is the ultimate dessert indulgence—crispy on the outside, soft and gooey inside, and overflowing with melted Nutella. It’s the perfect treat to share (or keep all to yourself) when your sweet tooth calls.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed

½ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 ½ cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)

¾ cup Nutella (or more for extra gooeyness)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a round baking dish or cast-iron skillet with parchment paper.

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

  • Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

  • Spread half the cookie dough evenly into your baking dish.

  • Warm Nutella slightly (so it’s spreadable) and spoon over the dough layer. Spread gently, leaving a small border around the edges.

  • Top with the remaining cookie dough, sealing the Nutella inside.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown on top but still slightly soft in the center.

  • Let it cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing into gooey wedges.

Notes

For an extra indulgent touch, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Swap Nutella with peanut butter, Biscoff spread, or caramel for a fun twist.

If you prefer a softer, gooier cookie, bake closer to 25 minutes; for a firmer texture, bake up to 30 minutes.
