Description
These Jack Skellington Oreo Pops are the ultimate no-bake Halloween treat! Made with Oreos, candy melts, and a little decorating magic, they’re spooky, fun, and surprisingly simple to pull together. Perfect for parties, gifting, or a festive movie night snack.
Ingredients
1 package Oreos – classic ones work best for sturdiness
12 oz white candy melts (or white chocolate chips + 1 tsp shortening)
Black edible marker or black gel icing for the faces
20–25 lollipop sticks
1–2 tsp shortening or coconut oil (optional, for thinning melts)
Wax paper or parchment paper
1 microwave-safe bowl
Instructions
Prepare the cookies – Carefully twist apart Oreos. Insert a lollipop stick into the cream, then sandwich back together.
Melt the coating – Microwave candy melts in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth. Add a little shortening if too thick.
Dip the pops – Hold each Oreo by the stick, dip fully in melted candy, and tap off excess. Place on parchment-lined tray.
Set the coating – Let dry at room temp or refrigerate 10 minutes until firm.
Decorate faces – Use edible marker or black gel icing to draw Jack’s eyes, nose, and stitched smile.
Finish & serve – Allow to dry completely, then serve or wrap individually for gifting.
Notes
For a smoother finish, double-dip Oreos after the first coating sets.
Try flavored Oreos (mint, pumpkin spice) for a festive twist.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature up to 5 days.
