Ingredients

1 package Oreos – classic ones work best for sturdiness

12 oz white candy melts (or white chocolate chips + 1 tsp shortening)

Black edible marker or black gel icing for the faces

2025 lollipop sticks

12 tsp shortening or coconut oil (optional, for thinning melts)

Wax paper or parchment paper

1 microwave-safe bowl


Instructions

  1. Prepare the cookies – Carefully twist apart Oreos. Insert a lollipop stick into the cream, then sandwich back together.

  2. Melt the coating – Microwave candy melts in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth. Add a little shortening if too thick.

  3. Dip the pops – Hold each Oreo by the stick, dip fully in melted candy, and tap off excess. Place on parchment-lined tray.

  4. Set the coating – Let dry at room temp or refrigerate 10 minutes until firm.
